Your Data & How to Delete It

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Sudoku has no accounts and no server. Nothing you do in the app is uploaded, so there is no request to submit and no form to fill in — deleting your data is something you do on your own device, and it takes about ten seconds.

There is nothing on our side to delete. We hold no account, no email address and no copy of your progress. Uninstalling the app removes every trace of it from your phone, and that is the whole of it.

What the app has stored

All of this sits in the app's own private storage on your device:

Deleting it on Android

Either clear the app's storage and keep the app, or uninstall it entirely. Both wipe everything listed above.

  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Go to Apps and pick Sudoku from the list.
  3. Tap Storage & cache.
  4. Tap Clear storage and confirm. The app returns to how it was on the day you installed it.

To remove the app as well, long-press its icon and choose Uninstall. Menu wording differs a little between Android versions and manufacturers.

Deleting it on iPhone and iPad

iOS has no per-app "clear data" button, so deleting the app is how you clear its data.

  1. Press and hold the Sudoku icon on the Home Screen.
  2. Choose Remove App.
  3. Choose Delete App, then confirm.

Pick Delete App, not Offload App. Offloading removes the app but deliberately keeps its data so a reinstall picks up where you left off.

Advertising identifiers

The banner ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising identifier. That identifier belongs to the operating system rather than to the app, so uninstalling does not reset it. Do that from Settings → Google → Ads on Android, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS.

Nothing to delete here either. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
